May Day was Fish and Chip Friday at Waterhouse and Mackintosh Homes when Mark from West Vale Fisheries delivered a much appreciated lunch to the Residents.
Hello there! Well, week five is here and the weather has been changeable meaning that getting out into the garden to walk or sit has been more difficult. The water will be good for the plants though as they start to bloom.
Waterhouse and Mackintosh Charities are pleased to be able to donate to the Community Foundation For Calderdale supporting front line charities helping the elderly and vulnerable in our local communities during the current Covid -19 pandemic.
Well, here we all are in lockdown week 4 at Waterhouse and Mackintosh Homes. The gardens are starting to awaken and with the lovely weather, Residents have been able to sit and walk out whilst respecting social distancing.
Our residents and guests enjoyed Cards Club this week in the Waterhouse Community lounge. Lots of fun was had by all with a plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Mackintosh Homes were founded by the Mackintosh family who were toffee makers in Halifax. Their company merged with Rowntree and was then taken over by Nestle.
